Sacred Heart Central School is a CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school in Viluppuram, Tamil Nadu, owned and administered by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa. Established in 2012, it provides education from Nursery through Grade 12 and emphasizes both academics and holistic student development.

Educational approach

The school describes its mission as providing integral education inspired by Christian values such as love, service, equality, peace, and compassion, while welcoming broad student development. Alongside classroom instruction, it places emphasis on co-curricular activities, sports, languages, environmental awareness, and life-skills education to support students’ overall growth.

Campus life

The school organizes students into four houses—Marians, Teresians, Florians, and Josephites—to encourage participation in academic, cultural, and service-oriented activities. Its calendar includes competitions, celebrations, NCC activities, and other events designed to build teamwork, leadership, and practical skills beyond the classroom.
